Perfect Presentations
Planning your Presentation
Here are some things for your team to consider when creating your presentation:
- presentation format - will it be a digital poster, slideshow, video? will it be appropriate for uploading to the school's blog?
- organising your information - what do you want to include? how do you want it to look? is your presentation appropriate for public viewing? consider online safety, privacy, ethical and social protocols
- identify your audience - how can you make your presentation interesting? will your audience understand it?
- make your message clear - what do you want to tell your audience? how can you persuade your audience to agree with your point of view? what persuasive language and images can you use?
- is it achievable? - set challenging, but realistic goals; what needs to be done to get your presentation finished? how will your team make sure the presentation will be completed on time?
Presentation Ideas
Your team's presentation can take any format you like, but remember, it must be able to be uploaded to the school's blog for viewing by the entire school. Your teacher will go through some of the options with you and allow you to take a look at them before beginning to create your presentation.
Here are just two possible formats for you to consider. Discuss with your teacher any other formats you wish to use.
